Mint the supplier

Mint walked into the Infirmary. it was a trailer and a set of containers that were converted into a makeshift medbay. Candy and Crown had amongst the most medical knowledge in the population, making them the default medics. Crown's ability to control his own blood did help a lot too. Mint help whenever he could, but since moving, it became a lot harder.

"Hey pretty boy!" Candy called out from behind the desk. She had a pile of notes and books open. She was most likely studying the books Mint got for them.

"I got you guys some shit" He stated. Upon hearing him, Crown came out of the operating room.

"Really?" He asked. Getting medical supplies in Bur wasn't easy.

"Yep" Mint said, walking to a drawer to pull out the stuff. His ability made it easy to sneak things around. The two gathered besides him to see what he got.

"Sterile operating kits?!" Crown exclaimed. as he grabbed the medical supplies.

"Where'd you get this shit?" Candy asked as Mint continued to pull out stuff.

"I got it from the infirmary at work" Mint stated.

"You mean stole it" She corrected, grabbing some of the materials to put them away.

"I actually asked for them, I'm a good terms with one of the medics"

"You? on good terms?" Crown questioned. Candy let out a laugh from the other room.

"She respects that Moss only wants me to treat him, she's the one that passed me the old medical text books" Mint explained, closing the drawer. He picked up some of the stuff and helped to put everything away where they belonged.

"Wait, that's who's notes I've been reading?" Candy asked, looking over her textbook again.

"Yep, I've gotta go now, I got a job" Mint stated. Mint turned to head towards the door only to be faced with a sad Crown.

"Wait, you're not even staying a bit?" Crown asked.

"Sorry, but I'll come back after work" Mint promised.

"You better, I wanna hear more about this medic you some how befriended" Candy called out as Mint opened the door. He rolled his eyes and headed out of the Infirmary.

First Time

Moss has never seen the sky before. Bur was isolated from the outside world for his entire life. Now that the city was free, people could actually leave the underground. Moss got curious about the outside. He left through one of the city exits and found himself in a port. The area had several containers including one that was the gate to Bur City. It took a long time for Moss to actually leave the containers. He had never seen the Sun. It was brighter that he imagined. After a while he settled on top of the gate, just watching the clouds. He had no sense of how long he was just sitting there. The sky was beautiful. Moss felt a noise nearby, the sound of mechanical wings flapping. He turned to see what it was. There was a figure in the sky that was slowly coming towards him. Moss sat up and placed a hand on his pocket knife. He hadn't brought his pole, Mint had nagged him about it and forced him to bring the small knife. Something he is now thankful for. As the figure approached, Moss stated where he was.

"Hello there." the person said landing nearby on another container. "Hey" Moss replied. He took note of the nearby camera, hoping that Sbidy had hacked it. "What are you doing here?" the stranger asked looking around to area. They were entirely alone. Moss could probably take him in a fight, or at least long enough for backup. The guy with the mechanical wings was bigger and older then him. There was also no saying what his ability was. "Just looking" Moss answered. "Looking?" Moss looked up at the sky as an answer. The man followed his gaze up. "The sky?" He questioned. "Yep, first time seeing it" Moss stated. The man tilted his head in confusion. Most be odd for them to have never seen the sky, they live above ground after all. "Why here?" The man asked, taking a step closer. Moss's eyes snapped to the guy's feet and then his face. "Closest to home" Moss replied, keeping his gaze fixed on the man. His eyes looked at him with confusing, suspicion but also intrigue. He was no doubt curious about the teen that has never seen the sky. "and where is your home?" the man asked. "You sure ask a lot of questions mister." Moss commented, finally turning his eyes back to the sky. The man made no other move towards him, instead choosing to sit where he stood. "It's my job to ask questions" He replied. Moss turned to look at him again. The man had blond hair tied in a small ponytail. His turned down eyes were green. He had a small scar on his eyebrow. His clothes were bright, brighter then the dull clothing colors seen in Bur. "What an odd job" Moss commented. He had no particular interest in talking to the man. The old reason he hadn't left was to avoid the stranger following him. Although, Moss could easily lose the man once in Bur, and besides the man could not sneak around with the size and sound of his wings. "I am a hero, my job is to keep the city safe from suspicious individuals." The man explained. Heroes, a term Moss had heard several times before. Angel was called a hero, so was everyone that fought in the revolution. Those were heroes, not whatever this man thought he did. "I came for what I wanted," Moss stated as he got up, "I shall let you go back to work, oh great Mr. Hero." He jumped off the container and ran into the gate towards his home city.
